Types Of GERD Symptoms

It feels like there is a deliberate burning sense of fire right in the middle part of your chest and it can vary from a minor discomfort to a severe feeling as if you are experiencing a heart attack. Most of the GERD symptoms are more often than not connected to heartburn while some symptoms like nausea and bad breath are not at all linked. In most of the time, an antacid can help ease the GERD symptoms. Do take note that the antacid can only help to ease the discomfort of the GERD symptoms but not really help solving the whole problem or the cause of gastro esophageal reflux disease. How The Cause Of GERD Symptoms GERD symptoms are mainly caused by the lower esophageal sphincter not performing its job properly by tightening itself after a meal. Sometimes, some of the foods can indirectly causing the lower esophageal sphincter from doing so while in most of times, it is due to our wrong posture and the incorrect angle of the body that created the cause of GERD and GERD symptoms. Other factors for instance like obesity and the kinds of diets that we have can also cause the symptoms of gastro esophageal reflux disease. Milk and acidic foods can cause our stomach to produce more acid than normal. In some cases, we might think that the condition is just GERD symptoms but it might in fact be something else. It is best to consult to a medical practitioner if you are not sure of it before you opt to take medication for it.
